Then it was time to get dressed....
I put her on something comfortable so we would be able to get her dressed without hurting her poor, little legs. So Yoga pants it was.
I tried to sneak in a close up, not a good shot but it was time to go...
She did not feel like taking any more pictures, because I woke her up and I still had not fed her. But even so, I still love those big, dark, brown eyes and kissable lips.
We picked up daddy and we were headed off to the doctors.
Once there, she got her weight -50%, head circumference - 50% and length - 25% and then the doctor came in to preform a few test.
And then it was time for all the madness. First the good stuff, you know the flavorful liquid medicine..
Then the bad....You know, those 3 sticks in the thigh!!
She was crying so hard that I had to put the camera down and help daddy console her. I really felt bad for her this time. Even though the shots were quick she seem like she understood the pain a bit more. She cried for about 5-10 minutes and then she was all smiles until she fell asleep.
She woke up this morning with a high fever and I gave her medicine to tame it, but it was still pretty high. She got a chance to hang out with my mother-in-law and family while hubby and I did some shopping. I did not want to take her out when she was not feeling well.
Tomorrow (Sunday) we have a date with her other grandmother and great grandmother so I hope she is feeling 100% better. Please pray that this fever breaks, because she has never ran one before and I don't like the fact that she is not eating. It makes for a long night. She is still all smile, but she is not her normal self.

Poor baby..I hate those visits. :(
ReplyDeleteI know, I hate the shots. I always give Boyd tylenol before the visit. He usually does get a fever the next day, but it goes quickly. I hope hers went away quickly!
