Weekend in Vegas!!

Nope not me but hubs. Can you believe that his job is sending him there for a freaking meeting and I can't go along. Why because income just did not allow us both to fly out. Both meaning me and the baby. So this really sucks. I am stuck at home all weekend doing nothing and he gets to go and have a party. That just sucks. To say I am a bit ticked is an understatement. Income tax is a bust so there was no way to recoup the money if we would have went. So this weekend I am chilling with the family. My mom and grandmother are coming to hang out with me this weekend and we are taking pictures Sunday for a 4 generation photo. Wow that should be interesting, but not as fun as Vegas. Oh well maybe next time we will be able to go. I don't see how people live with a spouse that travel, this puts me in a bad mood. I don't like it. Hubs and I have never been apart sense 1998 when he went to the military for all of 3 weeks and I just about died. So this is an adjustment. So pray that hubby has a safe flight to Sin City. He leaves Friday and comes back on Sunday. So this is going to be a long weekend. I am on major baby duty and on the weekend is when I get a break, so wish me luck. Needless to say I may not be able to blog, but hopefully I get some time to myself and make a post.

  1. If it helps at all, I've been to Vegas three times and I thought it was three times too many. Hate Vegas!

He'll be back soon and you'll be even more glad for him.

  2. Every year my husband has to attend a coaches convention (ironically where we fell in love!) for three days four hours from home. I cannot stand it when he is gone. It is one tough weekend! I can totally understand your frustration. It never fails, the day or two before he is to leave, I throw a big ol' fit about how unfair it is that he gets to have a weekend to himself and how I will never get to. Ever again. Of course, this is silly, but it is completely how I feel at the time. :)
I'm glad you have the support of your family this weekend. I can't wait to see that photo!

  3. Awww, sorry you can't go, but you will have fun with your family and getting a 4 generation picture done will be so cool. Relax and take it easy, having grandmas around...you won't have to do much:) Praying for a safe trip.

  4. I'm sorry! My husband went on a 12 day road trip to CA and Mexico when Boyd was 7 months old. I was happy for him, but jealous, and very tired by the time he got home. I hope you can still enjoy your weekend with your family. We did a 4 generation photo and it was fun!
