Happy 6 Month Baby Girl

So I told you ladies and gentlemen that I would be doing a post about my little lady for her 6 month birthday, but I am just now getting around to it. I must say get pictures of this little person is getting harder and hard each day....

Sweet, Sweet Baby Girl

My how time is flying by. You are already 6 months old and I only have 6 more months before you turn a year. It seem like only yesterday I was bringing you home from the hospital and everyone was coming to visit. You have brought so much joy to mommy and daddy's live. I would not trade one single moment with you for nothing in the world.

You continue to make funny faces now....

are maybe mommy just got a bad shot of you. But you keep changing each a every day. You have gotten so big now, that rocking you has become a little more of a challenge because you are getting so long. However you love to be rocked to sleep and as your mom I am happy to do it.

This past month you have started acting like a big girl. You have learned to sit up on your own and you are smiling on cue now. Although when you see the camera this is the look you give us...

or this.....It does not matter because you are still cute even when you don't want to cooperate with us. You love it when I hold you upside down, flip you around and give you a kiss. This is a game you could play all day long, but mommy's arms get a little tired because you have gain a bit more weight. It is so funny how people think you are the smallest thing they have ever seen and mommy thinks you are so big.

You are now getting in the position of crawling. You are not on your hands and knees totally but you push them up under you and you put your head to the floor. I can see any day now rocking and then taking off. I am not ready for you to start crawling just yet because then you will really be hard to handle. I will be glad all the same that you are meeting your milestones for your age.

You love playing in your crib, although you will not sleep in it for long period of time. I think that the bumper is your new best friend. You are always pulling the ribbon on the little butterflies. You can lay in there awake for hours if we let you and you would be just as happy as if you were playing with your toys. You are so funny to watch.

Finally, you are reaching for everything in sight. Every time we pull the camera out you think you are supposed to grab the string. If we are sitting at the table you think you are supposed to grab the napkin or our drinks. It does not matter what it is you want it. It is wonderful to see you explore.

So it does not matter little girl, I am so in love with you. I can't wait to see what the next 6 months bring. I pray that you will be the happy, health, loving and exploring baby that you have been these past 6 months.
