So once again it is Monday and it is time for me to let it all hang out. Here it goes...
It was not me that had to go to the therapist on Monday with M and did not take a bottle. I would not go anywhere for 2 hours without being a bit prepared. I was not concerned about being late that I did not get there 15 minutes too early and did not have plenty of time to go back in the house and get that bottle before I left home.
I did not have to hear my little girl cry on the long drive home because I forgot for mention bottle. During this drive home, I did not stop and get gas and let her sit in the car crying even louder because I did not want to get gas the next day. I would not stop for this gas knowing that she was hungry.
I did not get home after that visit and gas stop to place her in her bouncy seat while I got dinner ready, without still giving her that bottle. I did not forget that I did not feed her while I was in session because she was no longer crying.
I did not torture M by placing her in her activity center so that I could get some laundry done, causing her to cry. I did not stop sorting so I could take pictures of one unhappy child. See this past Thursday post.
I did not wake up my baby to go upstairs to tell the neighbor that she was making to much noise while my baby and I were trying to sleep. The neighbor did not cuss me out and close the door in my face. I did not come back down stairs and have my husband call the front office and report her. She did not stop with her noise only for the apartment next door to start with more noise by laying carpet. I was not highly ticked off when I found out that we had two apartments over our heads, that I just got up and drank me some coffee all the while M slept.
Finally, I did not try to cover my babies ears Friday while they tested the fire alarms, in hope that she would not wake up. She did not keep tossing her head back and forth for me to quit so that she could sleep in peace with the noise. This little girl is not a sound sleeper and can not block out all noises when she sleep.
Now head on over to MCKMama so you can get a good dose of what other are not doing.

Wow. What a couple of days! Thank goodness you did NOT do all of those things.
ReplyDeleteOh my...poor baby just wanted a bottle. I have never forgotten to feed my kids. LOL I think that happens all the time around here now. Thank goodness they can ask for food now. LOL
ReplyDeleteWe live a good 45 minutes from our ped's office. I remember the time I forgot to pack a bottle and got an ever-lovin' earful all the way home when my oldest was an infant. Not fun, not fun at all!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a quiet night tonight. :)
Bless you... I know very well how the forgetting the bottle works.... ahhhhh, motherhood!
