This was another useful way to keep her busy. We placed the Bumbo in front of the Jungle Gym mat and let her play with the hanging animals that she could not normally reach. She loves this time of play, because she has access to everything.
This is one of her sitting on the couch looking at television. This is her favorite place, although she does not look at t.v. that much because we hardly watch it, but she does look to look at KERA and Sprout!
Finally this is her watching daddy cooking. We don't put her in the kitchen, but or dining room is close so we roll her in there and she looks into the kitchen while we cook. That way we can have a little family time and she can be involved.
You can't see the Bumbo in this picture but she is in it. I just thought it was cute enough to include.
Yep, they are great, but I heard they were recalled so just be careful. My friend had her baby in the Bumbo on her kitchen island, she scooted herself off and cracked her head. DHS came out and everything. She's for sure the best mom in the world so it was hard for her to get over. The baby is fine.

ReplyDeleteWe loved the Bumbo with my youngest, though we were only able to use it for a few weeks. When she was four months old she figured out a way to use her legs to bounce up and down while sitting in it. We had one close call with her falling out and then retired it. Bye bye Bumbo. :(
