Not Me Monday....

So once again I come to air out my dirty laundry of things I did not do this week or ever....

It was not me that took a piece of paper from my daughter that she was chewing on because it had writing on it. I did not in turn tear out another sheet of paper and give it to her to continue to chew, because this one was clean. I did not do that because she has so many chew toys that I could have just given her.

I did not just call my child's toys chew toys, for she is not a puppy and I could think of something else better to call them.

I did not get mad at my husband one night for snoring that I did not keep moving in the bed, waking him up so his sleep could be as broken as mine. I would not be that spiteful, because I did not want him to suffer, not even a little bit.

I did not sneak and give my daughter some frosty from Wendy's because she was begging and I did not end up having to clean poop more than normal for that day, because I am a better parent than that and I know that ice cream and a four month old does not mix.

I did not go out and buy my little girl one more outfit and some shoes because I left her with her grandmother while she was sick and I did not feel bad because I was having an outing with hubby! I would not do that, because she did not miss me while I was gone. Honestly she didn't!

Finally, I did not get mad at church Saturday, while in the nursing room, listen to service, holding a sleep baby, when two women came in just to talk and have their children sit on the floor and play. I would not do that, because I am much calmer than that and noise do not bother me. Beside I was not in there first and I was not enjoying the time alone.

So tell me what have you not done this week. Head on over to MCKMama and see what others have not done for the week.

I can clearly tell that this child will be a "eater",but that is nothing unusual for the Joneses !

  4. I think I'm having one of those weeks. I did not yell at Boyd because he tore up a magazine. I did not give him some frozen strawberry yogurt. I did not let him play in the living room for a few minutes alone while I had the office door closed!!

  5. I love your first one! Yesterday I gave my daughter a roll of toilet paper to unroll sheet by sheet just so that I could have a half hour of solitude. :)
