SO, about a week ago little miss got herself a new toy with all the bells and whistles (see below photo). We got it on a Thursday and daddy put it together on Saturday. Yesterday I decided that I would put her in it so that she could have a little activity time and I can get some laundry done.
Well she started off all good with loads of smiles.
The next thing I know she was looking like this
then this
and finally an all out cry!!
Oh the drama!! I thought that she was going to at least give me 20 minutes of play time but she only gave me about 8. I was like you have to be kidding me, this is suppose to be fun times. I couldn't help myself, I had to get a picture of this cool toy causing so much drama! Needless to say, no laundry was done until daddy got home. Whoa is me!
My girls loved this toy, but it took gradually getting used to it. We kept ours in our bathroom and they played in it while I took a shower. Unfortunately, they never liked it more than 15 minutes at a time. :(

My kids had the boring exersaucer. So this one would have been a treat for them. Poor baby wasnt liking the new toy. It will grow on her. Hope she gives you more time next time.

ReplyDeleteOh girl, I feel for you!!!! But she might get used to it. Boyd did the same thing at first with his exersaucer, and then he started to love it. I could leave him in there for an hour. He really liked it when I would put a Baby Einstein video on while he was in the exersaucer.

It's a lot of stimulation the first time. Eventually she is gonna LOVE it.
