I Stole These From Hubs!!

Because my husband takes so many pictures and I have slacked off, I get to swipe a few here and there that he has not posted for what ever reason or another. Well I ran across these that he took from last month of my little model.

This is her favorite past time, hands in the mouth. So I am always washing her hands. I keep thinking she is trying to get those teeth in there, but no such luck!
This is her Daddy could you please just leave me alone face. We get these often. So if we get the blank look now, I can imagine what she will look like as a teenager.
This is her look like mommy smile, although she looks exactly like her daddy. She got her killer smile from her mommy. We also get lots of these. I always think she is smiling at an angel or God when she smile for no reason or no one is looking at her.
Don't you just love this profile shot. I thought Daddy did a really go job with this one.
This is her when something is really funny. This always cracks us up, because she only do it when we are laughing at something. Usually that something is her.
Finally, this is her subtle smile. She love to grace us with this first thing in the morning when she is peeping through the crib. This smile just makes my day.
I keep hearing that I should put her into baby modeling, but I guess I am just selfish, because I want to keep her beauty all for myself. Who knows maybe one day I will put her into something, but only if she wants too. I do know, I will not be the mom that puts makeup on a 3 month old like I saw on "Toddlers in Tiara's". That show is a major mess!

How Could You Not....

Love this face. This is one of my favorite shots of Madison that was taken early this month and I just love it. She was just about to stand in her bassinet, but of course I stopped her, right after this photo.

This one really cracks me up. I always thinks she looks like a cute, little puppy. By no means am I calling my little one a dog, but you know how dogs look at you side ways when you are doing something they can't quite figure out. Well this is that shot. It is kind of dark, but you get the point.

Ahh, Madison Made Me A Book...

Well sort of. Wednesday was Madison's last day of school for two weeks, before the summer program picks up again and they gave me a little keepsake from my little one. Her daddy saw it when he dropped her off and did not tell me anything about it when I had lunch with him, later that day. I guess he wanted me to be surprised. Anyway, I have always wondered why I would see other little day cares making little gift for their parents around the holiday's and I never got anything from Madison. Well this made up for it.

This is a picture of her and her little boyfriend Hayden. I met him about 3 weeks ago when I went to drop Madison off. It was the funniest thing I have ever seen. Let me tell you the story. When we got there I saw this little boy sitting on the floor crying really, really hard. As I hand Madison over to her teacher, she calls out to him "Hayden, your friend Madison is here". The teacher then places Madison on the carpet and he instantly stops crying, crawls over to her and starts rubbing on her face. The crazy part is she starts smiling like they do this all the time. I thought it was the cutest thing I had ever seen. So everyday I go get her, she and Hayden are together. Now keep in mind she is the only girl with 9 little boys, from the ages 7 months to 1 years old. I am not sure why he is so special, but I guess right now it's ok, he only a month older. Now when she is old enough to really date, I just might have to get my shot gun.

I really hope that I get more little gifts from her, because they really touch my heart. Of course if you are a mom, grandmother or aunt you know this. I now have to get a cute "BIG" box to start collecting all her drawings and projects in. Can't wait to see what this summer holds. But for now, I will enjoy the time I have at home with her. She will be going to class two days a week vs. one and I think I am going to go crazy without her. Let just see.

Not Me Monday - My Long Weekend

So, ok, I am almost to tired to even do this post, but I will do it anyway. I am not sure if anyone else is doing it, but it's fun so I'll keep it going. Here we go..

I did not have the craziest week ever only to have it followed by a long weekend.

This busy weekend did not start of Friday when hubs got off early and we decided that we would fight the Friday night crowd and get something to eat. Who knew that no one was thinking about cooking Friday around 5 o'clock.

We did not stay up until 3 am that same night playing on the computer and video game, knowing that we would have to get up early the next morning and get some shopping done.
We did not get up, on time Saturday to beat the rush at The Original Pancake House, that the we were able to be seated when we first got there. If you know this place, that never happens on a Saturday morning, unless you get there EARLY.

Afterwards, we did not have to do 4 hours worth of ripping and running, getting things ready for my families annual Memorial Day Picnic. Man was I tired. Who would have guess that going to bed at 3, getting up early would make one tired family.

We did not go to bed even later on Saturday, once again, playing on the computer (blogging), only to wake up again early. I mean, you think we would have learned our lesson, but we didn't, and guess who woke up at 6:30am. Thank goodness for daddy. But I must say, we got enough post to last us for the rest of the week, almost two.

We did not go to the family picnic and have a blast with all my crazy kin folks. Pictures to come later, once hubs finish doctoring them up in Photoshop.

We did not get their at 3 pm (man how we love the number 3) only to have it rain on us two hours later and we had to pack everything up. What a bummer, but wait.....

We did not put everything in the car only for the rain to slack up and stop, while we sat and waited it out, keeping us there for 2 more hours. On a side note, we knew it was going to rain, it has happen to us every year for the past 10 years.

We did not come home, tired and hungry only to realize that our little girl did not want to go to sleep. Of course a nap at 7 pm will warrant us a 12:30 - 1 am bedtime at all cost. I did not stay up trying to stomp with the big dogs knowing that I had to get up and meet my trainer at 6:30 am.

I did not get to the gym 4 1/2 hours after going to sleep only to find that my trainer was late. I was not royally upset, because in 3 more minutes I was going to take my sleepy self home. He did not come in there with a tall cup of my favorite coffee, for him of course, ready to kick my butt.
P.S. I did not flake on my cardio and sneak out when he went to the restroom, because I could not keep my eyes open any longer and I bumped my head on the bike handle bars.

I did not call him and tell him something came up that was important and that I had to leave 15 minutes into my 30 cardio. Yes, sleep is that important. I know, bad Tess, but like he said "No problem, we will just add it to your 30 minutes on Friday and you can just do 45 minutes of cardio". I was not excited that he was not ticked, that I just bailed on him like that. Oh well it was worth it.
I did not come home, and skip my shower and hop straight in the bed. I honestly never do that, so please for give me this once, I could not take it any longer.
So that is how my weekend went, please share and let me in on yours.

Update on Crawling

This is a little late, about 3 weeks to be exact, but none the less I got some photo's of Madison on her knees crawling. She is still not that great at it, but I give her about a few more weeks and she will be hard to catch.

Here she is getting started...
Next she gets her game face on...

And she off....
I think our floor is a bit to hard on the knees, so she crawls back to her blanket.
Oh yea and by the way, now that she can get around, she even helps do laundry.

Where is the Remote...

It seems as if my daughter has a knack for getting thing we don't want her to have. I find myself aways looking for things that I have seen her with but she has either stuffed in the couch or toss it over the side. Well the other day she found something else to play with that was eventually misplaced and I had to find it.

Now keep in mind this remote is universal. It controls our dvr box, our audio system and the function of our t.v., so if we can't find it there will be no t.v. for us. So needless to say, it was lost for about 5 minutes after she had it, but I knew where to look, thank goodness. Needless to say I had to find a remote to give to her in order to keep this one safe. But for you that have children, a replacement is never the same and they still steal your toy.
