Lots of Free Time

So, I got to have some free time this past week and weekend and I can not say how much it came at a really good time. I have been on new medication and it has not been working just right. We are trying something different but all it is doing is making me agitated and cranky. This is better known as Mania. Well anyway, we went and picked up my grandmother Wednesday to come and spend a few days with me and Madison. We didn't do much but it was cool to have her here. Madison was out of school for this week, so she had a blast chillin' with me and her great-grandmother. We did not take her home until today, and all the time she (my grandmother) was here Madison was with her. So this was a welcomed break for me, because mentally I was not all there.

So, thanks to my wonderful mother we got a free day without Madison on Saturday, she was a God send. Not like a needed any more time away from Madison, but I took it anyway. She kept her while Seneca and I went out to dinner and a movie, something we have not done sense Madison has been born. This was right of Madison alley, oh how that little girl loves her Me-Maw . However, I was not in the best of moods so maybe that is the reason why I felt that Terminator sucked. Or maybe I just didn't understand it, the plot was not obvious to me. I mean who was running the machines and how did they take over the world. It just did not click. I did however like the few action scenes, but other than that it was a bust. However, I must say that the dinner was great. We went to this place called 5th Street Cafe and I had the Louisiana Sausage and Chicken Pasta and hubs had the Turkey Sandwich with pea salad. The turkey sandwich was good too. So I was well pleased. We will be going back there pretty soon.

So thanks mom for keeping Madison and letting us just relax from this stressful week. And thank you grandmother for hanging out with us, even though hubs and I fought the whole time you were here. Maybe I will be better off when you come next month. These stupid meds.

  3. That is a great help when grandparents step in and help with the kids once in a while. I take full advantage of those days. It is refreshing for us all.
Hope your meds get regulated soon.
