Her New Spiffy, Sippy Cup

With out the bells and whistles of all the new Princess and Dora cups she settles for this....Yelp you got that right, it is her Daddy's cup he had at the hospital. As soon as he got it home she went and grabbed it and never wanted to give it back. So as you must know there was always fight between the Head Lion and his cub. As we now see, the cub finally won. Lil Miss is such a Daddy's girl! Even though she wants to be with me most of the time, she truly love being with her daddy.

I Love...

These two people..... Each and everyday I give thanks to God for blessing me with my lovely husband (Pop) and my crazy, yet loving daughter (Lil Miss). These two people keep my life interesting. This past weekend hubs allowed me to get things done while he took care of Lil Miss. I was so thankful for that break (something he was not able to give me before because of surgery) and I was able to do something special for him (with the help of my mom)....

Yelp you got it right, SPOILED! I know I can't help it. He does so much for Lil Miss and I that I would love to make his day a little bit brighter. Now I just hope I don't regret it. So far he has not touched it very much, but I am sure this weekend will be filled with gaming. Lil Miss on the other hand was showered with tons of clothes, bath toys and finger paints. I think she is more excited about the the boxes than the toys. Silly girl. So all and all I had a great weekend making my two love one's happy.

Lil Miss New Smile

Lil Miss now say "Cheese". Every time we tell her to say it, this is the shot that we get. I must admit it is totally funny and cute at the same time.
Wow look at all those teeth and the good part is she has been a real sport about them! Now on the other hand please forgive the messy face and wild hair, she just woke up and finished breakfast and she was getting ready to get a bath.

You Would Think....

I made Lil Miss take a Time Out. But I didn't. Now should I, YES, this girl has such a temper and is very moody when she is awaken from her nap. That is the reason we got so many shots like this after dinner. Gotta love a toddler.

Praise Report for Lil Miss

Well the news is back and my sweet, lil, bebe kid is just going to be that little!

There is nothing that I am doing wrong as far as her weight is concerned, but we did find out that she is lactose intolerant. So all and all she is just fine and can't handle milk. I am more than happy to take that away or limit it as long as she is still able to have a somewhat normal diet.

Now it is just time for mommy to get checked out. I have been so busy taking care of Lil Miss and Pop that I think I am just falling apart from fatigue. LONG nights mixed with LONG days makes for one tired mommy. Now that Lil Miss is back at school I can reschedule my doctors appointments and see my therapist on a normal basis. Yippee for me!

SO many thanks to all of you who lifted Lil Miss up and thought about her. All things worked out just fine. GOD is so good. If we could just get the nerves in Pop's foot to get better then we will be heading for a full recovery of this home.

OH NO!!

Let me first start off by saying she was not hurt, but this is the way we tend to find Lil Miss and her chairs. We have not yet seen how she has gotten herself in this situation, but some how or another we manage to get her out at least once or twice a day. This little girl is so much of a Dare Devil that it is not even funny. Thank goodness for carpet. She is only allowed to have these chairs in her room or ours because they are carpeted. She can no longer have them in the living room once she fell out of it just sitting the correct way. Boy, she loves to keep Mommy on her toes.

Pictures from My Birthday Dinner.....

So for my birthday my lovely husband and sweet (yet bad) daughter took me to Houston's on Belt Line for dinner. I must admit it was a bit of a shock to me because, hubs have been feeling a little bad from the surgery. Nope not his back but a nerve in his foot (that's another post). Anyway they took me too dinner and it was killer good (oxymoron I know).....

Lil Miss Dinner... Shoe string french fries (had to get this one because after Wednesday she might not be able to have any food of this sort. That will be my post once I get the news) Pop and My Dinner..... We shared our meals with each other. This salad is sooooo good. The dressing is to die for and the chicken strips are flavorful and soft battered. I could live without the avocado.

And the ribs were great. There was no way I could eat a full slab, hence the reason we shared the meal. Now the funny thing is Madison tried the ribs and hated them. CRRRAAAZY.

Finally a mother daughter picture...Just look at her face. She makes me laugh.
Over all this was one wonderful day. Oh yea, Pop's got me a full hour massage and I am super duper excited. He always make my birthdays great. Thanks Honey and Lil Miss for a wonderful time. I love you both.
